Hiring Practices Workshop

Training Contents:

  • Local and national legislation on hiring practices and common code of conduct provisions
  • How to identify and prevent the recruitment of child labor
  • Implementation of hiring procedures and policies, including background checks for employees
  • National laws and common Code of Conduct requirements regarding employees' contracts and personnel files (e.g. probationary periods, contract terms, facility entry registration forms, etc).
  • Methods at the facility's disposal to improve their current employee record keeping practices
  • National laws and common Code of Conduct requirements regarding forced labor (e.g. hiring deposits, etc.) and discrimination
  • Guidance will also be provided on the establishment of internal monitoring procedures
